In my mind, this eye makeup would look like this all day… But in reality it looks like this by the afternoon!ĮYES: MAC Tailor Grey Paint Pot, MAC Smolder Eye Kohl, Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Gloss, Urban Decay Cannonball MascaraįACE: MAC Lightful C Tinted Creams in Medium Plum and Medium Deep, Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealers in R40 and Y41, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Golden, Hourglass Mood Exposure Blush It’s supposed to look messy, and sometimes that’s great. What’s super cool about gloss is that you have so much room for error. When you only have a short time for your makeup, you can’t expect to do everything perfectly. Like, when I close my eyes and look down, you can see that my liner has transferred into the crease, but it’s purposefully messy. I think the most important thing to remember about eye gloss is that it isn’t meant to look perfect and precise, and you just have to embrace that otherwise, all you see are the imperfections. Then I added layer upon layer of my favorite waterproof mascara, Urban Decay Cannonball Ultra Waterproof. My favorite shade is definitely Teddy, an amazing dark brown with some flecks of gold-copper color. It was actually really messy and looked very scary, but then I put the gloss on top, and it all melted together into glossy, grungy goodness. This eyeliner is much like other liners, it smudges perfectly right after application but then stays put all day long. My favorite shades are Jest, Phloof, Satin Taupe, Tapestry, Wedge and Nylon.
You can also create your own palette with the panless pro singles. They are well pigmented, are never powdery, and the quality of the palettes is just as good as the singles. I love MAC’s shadows, they really are the best out there in my opinion. I’ve pictured a single shadow as well as a few different palettes here.
It offers natural looking, buildable coverage. This is currently my favorite MAC foundation. I have 3 of this brush, and I kind of want more… MAC has a lot of great makeup brushes, but the 217 is the one I use over and over. This lightweight powder has just enough pretty shimmer to catch the light and make you look glowy! Groundwork and Indianwood are also good options.
Painterly works for a lot of people, but look for one that goes well with your skin tone.
Use it as a blush, a highlighter, even as a lipstick! The best known use really is as an eyeshadow or shadow primer. I’ll sometimes spray it on an eyeshadow brush before I then pick up product in the pan, this makes the shadow more intense and helps it last longer. This is really a must have for every beauty girl! You can use it as a setting mist, to refresh your makeup throughout the day.
Note that MAC is currently on double cash back from Ebates! You can learn more about how to save money on makeup with Ebates here, or sign up with my link to get $10 back from your first $25+ order! I have to admit that I find the continual release of new products to be a bit overwhelming! My look in general is more pretty and less super trendy, so the regular collection works well for me. I still tend to stick with the basics from MAC. Today I want to share my current favorites, the best MAC makeup!
